Protected Landscape is de eerste gebouwde kamer van het Huis van Eutopia, die zich op de begane grond bevindt. Als bezoeker word je uitgenodigd om de drempel te overschrijden, het afgesloten geheel te betreden en via een parcours langs verschillende herkenbare, soms archetypische landschappen een eigen perspectief te vormen over de thema’s die ze symboliseren: migratie, de bescherming en controle van Europa’s buiten- en binnengrenzen, asielbeleid en het proces van Europese integratie.

Protected Landscape was the first room to be built in the House of Eutopia and is located on the ground floor. The visitor is invited to cross the threshold, enter the closed entity and follow a route that takes him past various landscapes, some familiar, some archetypal, so he can form his own view of the themes they symbolise: migration, the protection and control of Europe’s outer and internal borders, asylum policy and the process of European integration.
